On November 13, 2025, WASH Skills Development Organization organized a Learning Exchange Household Water Treatment and Safe Storages at Tonle Bassac 2 Restaurant, Phnom Penh, under the chairmanship of Ms. Mith Somountha, Deputy Director of the Department Rural Water Supply. The workshop was also attended by the national working group (Rural Water Supply Department of the Ministry of Rural Development), sub-national working groups including: Kandal, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Speu provincial rural development departments, district administrations, non-governmental organizations, international organizations and private sector, a total of 48 people (15 women). The objectives of this sharing forum are as follows:
Share guidelines on rural water supply to rural water, sanitation and hygiene implementation partners. Discuss and share experiences related to the implementation of household water treatment and safe storage in the community. Increase knowledge on household water treatment and safe storage technologies.Visit the exhibition of various water treatment products
